    On choosing the optimal power value of an electric locomotive to minimize the consumption of electric energy

    An analysis of the operation of electric locomotives on certain sections of railways shows that their power is used irrationally and electric locomotives are operated with low energy indicators, especially on long-distance flat stretches, which indicates that there are reserves for reducing the consumption of electric energy. The purpose of the work is to determine the optimal value of the rated power of electric locomotives by minimizing the electricity consumption on the site and to estimate the loss of electric energy from the non-optimal use of electric locomotives' power. To achieve this goal, an equation was drawn up for the dependence of the electric power consumption on the traction of an electric locomotive on the value of its rated power. To find the optimal value, this equation was differentiated by the value of the rated power of the electric locomotive and solved using the Cardano method. The expression allowed us to determine the minimum consumption of electric power is the rated power of the electric locomotive, depending on the required for a given traffic conditions and to evaluate the variation of energy consumption from non-optimal use of its structural capacity. The obtained equations allowed us to solve the problems of choosing the optimal value of the rated power of electric locomotives and evaluating the irrational consumption of electric energy from the non-optimal use of their power and can be used to determine the optimal parameters of electric locomotives. The conclusion is made about the importance of choosing the optimal power values of electric locomotives in order to obtain the highest technical and economic indicators during their operation.

    Influence of the organization of the movementof the united freight trains on the increasingof the capacity of the plots electrified on a dc

    The analysis of the influence of the organization of the formation of United freight trains on the throughput capacity of railway sections has been carried out. The results of electrical calculations of the 3.0 kV dc power supply system of 3 sections of the Sverdlovsk and South Ural railways are presented when controlling the speed of trains from 50 km / h to 100 km / h with various locomotives while passing two single and one connected cargo trains using the system of contactless automatic voltage regulation in the contact network, allowing to assess the throughput capacity of the three sections. In the course of the calculations, the developed refinement method was applied using the correction current factors KIxx and KIst. Proved the need for their use in electrical calculations.

    Analysis of power losses in the main equipment static varcompensators taking into account the non-sinusoidalvoltages and ways of its reduction

    With the purpose of providing capacity on the West-Siberian railway, in recent times, adjustable reactive power compensation devices have been introduced. The schematic construction and parameters of such devices on the market are significantly different. In connection with this, it is necessary to choose from the set of schemes the most effective, corresponding to specific technical and economic conditions. The article assesses the power losses in the main equipment of two devices from different manufacturers, namely static thyristor compensators of reactive power produced by "KER Holding" Kazan and "Aidis groups" Moscow, installed on the Alambay and Novaya Dubrava sectional posts of the West Siberian Iron roads. The power losses in the equipment are calculated taking into account additional losses from the influence of higher harmonic components. The analysis of the circuit design of both devices in terms of loss reduction is carried out. Dependences of power losses in their elements on the generated reactive power and the current of the thyristor-reactor group are constructed. Probabilistic functions of the distribution of the current of the titrator-reactor groups of devices are given at preset settings. The results of measurements of power consumption of devices for own needs are presented. The effect of reducing power losses in the traction network from switching devices with losses in their main equipment is compared. On the basis of the work done, the elements with the greatest losses are identified. The features of each device, affecting the power loss in the main equipment, are described. Conclusions are drawn about the effectiveness of the schemes under consideration. Methods for reducing power losses in basic equipment and consumption for energy consumption are proposed.

    To the study of the efficiency of locomotives of electric traction in the kokand - andijan section of the uzbek railway

    The subject of research is the evaluation of the effectiveness of different modes of energy-optimal control of the movement of a freight train of a unified mass by AC freight electric locomotives of the Uz-El series with asynchronous electric motors on the flat section of Kokand - Andijan of the Uzbek railway. Purpose of the study: substantiation of the main performance indicators of electric traction locomotives, taking into account the given traffic schedule, using various options for the optimal mode of controlling the movement of a freight train with a unified train mass on a real flat section of the Uzbek railway. The methods and methodology of the research are the theoretical foundations of locomotive traction, the mathematical theory of optimal object control, as well as the C # programming language (C Sharp) with the development of mock-up applications in the Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0 programming environment.As a result of the study, energy-optimal curves, kinematic parameters of the movement of a freight train and parameters of the main indicators of the energy efficiency of the investigated electric locomotive for different options for traction calculation on the real flat section of Kokand - Andijan of the Uzbek railway were obtained. The obtained kinematic parameters of the movement of freight trains with a unified mass of the train and the parameters of the efficiency indicators for the use of the studied electric locomotives can be used in the Kokand locomotive depot, which will allow developing regime maps for driving freight trains by these electric locomotives, depending on the level of complexity of the track profile and various conditions for organizing rail transportation of goods.

    Main dependences of flow change electricity from the traffic traffic schedule on dc current sites for sections with i type of profile

    The article discusses the assessment of the impact of train schedule on the amount of electricity consumption for traction on sections of DC I-th profile type way. The proposed parameters of the train schedule, influencing the electricity consumption for traction on sections of DC I-th profile type way. The major scheduling options included statistical quantities and parameters characterizing the conditions of the batch passing trains, stop and solid thread schedules for truck-driving. Based on simulation modeling provided the main based on changes in the volume of electric energy for traction on the plot of the traction electric supply system when changing the parameters of the timetable. The dependences of the volume change of electrical energy for traction allow you to evaluate and determine the ranges of the parameters of the graph in which the variation of volume is minimal. in the considered ranges of the parameters of the train schedule, the amount of electricity for the areas of DC with the I-th profile type varies within 1 % with the constancy of other factors..

    Improvement of methodology for determination of electric power loses on train traction

    This article presents the rationale for the need to change the methodology for determining the absolute and relative values of energy losses to train traction. It is shown that when determining the relative value of the losses, it is necessary to take into account the amount of recovery energy returned to the contact network by electric rolling stock meters. To increase the accuracy of determining the absolute value of losses, it is necessary to take into account the energy consumption for the needs of the traction power supply system for prophylactic heating and smelting of ice on the wires of the contact network, as well as to ensure uninterrupted voltage on inactive electrified sections of railways. A formula is proposed for estimating the component of electric power losses in the contact network from the flow of energy recovery taking into account changes in the methodology for determining the loses of electric power for train traction.

    Strengthening the traction power supply systemof accurrent by the application of compensating devicesin the conditions of increased mass train handling

    The paper discusses the main limiting factors limiting the volume of transportation of high-volume freight trains. Designated approaches to solving the problems presented by the use of compensating devices. The paper presents the method of selecting installation sites and the power of compensating devices in the traction network, taking into account the growth in traffic volumes, allowing to evaluate the positive effect of the installation of compensating devices on the prospect of increasing traffic volumes. Determination of perspective power consumption is proposed to carry out using power consumption forecasting. To assess the effect of the installation of compensating devices in the traction network, three criteria have been proposed: unloading traction transformers, increasing the voltage level at the consumer, and unloading the power transmission lines.

    Evaluation of energy efficiency of train motion schedules based on modeling by nonlinear regression and neural network methods

    The article deals with the modeling of the electric rolling stock and traction power supply system with the aim of solving the problem of reducing the electric power consumption for the traction of trains in the conditions of changing the schedule of freight trains. Simulation modeling is performed for the conditions of changing the mass of the train and the load on the axis. The description of the results obtained is based on regression models, the order of application of models in practice is given.
